Laravel 4

I am familiar with php & now I decided to learn frameworks but I found laravel 4 in library which make me bit confused whether to start or not because laravel 4 is old now.

Laravel 5.2 and laravel 4 are very different. 5.2 has so many new features. Its better to wait for the new course or youtube is the way to go. I had the same dilemna.

I think I'm going to do the course (for Laravel 4) because I want to get familiar with the framework. I completed the first section, but Laravel 5 is so different that I tracked down the legacy homestead to reinstall. I'm including the link here: https://laravel.com/docs/4.2/homestead. Others may prefer to use the materials at the Laravel site for 5.x., which I hear are excellent.

It better to learn the new one. Else you'll have to learn 5 again. And trust me 5 is not hard. Laravel is my first mvc framework and i got used to it on the first video.
