2,616 PointsLibrary Butter Knife doesn't work
Hi there,
I have an issue with Butter Knife. I copied Butter Knife library from GitHub and pasted it into build gradle and synced. After that I tried to write a line starting with @InjectView and Android Studio doesn't recognise that. I am really not sure what is the issue as I pasted the library code into dependencies. I am really stuck, reading documentations on android developer source, but no success. Has anyone come across similar issue and is able to advise? Would greatly appreciate.
Kind Regards,
Maks

15,353 Points@InjectView is deprecated. The ButterKnife version used in Ben's videos are of a older version.
Use @Bind isntead of @InjectView. Tell me if it works!

5,140 PointsFrom what I'm seeing it looks like you also have to replace the ButterKnight.inject() method with ButterKnife.bind()

2,616 PointsHi Kevin,
Thank you for your answer. It does work. Just tried it. I wish he have mentioned that on the lesson. I was stuck with this issue for two days.
Thank you once again.
