Have you taken an opportunity to review our Tracks page? Tracks are comprised of various courses that take you on a guided path from start to finish on a very specific subject. For example, here's a track that's been compiled for students who are interested in getting started with learning and understanding the basics of Web Design: https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/web-design and it's ideally a good place to start if you're completely new to design and development.
