Local SEO related question.

What does everyone think about the topic of Over-Optimizing when it comes to launching a new site. For example you are launching a new site. When is having the location name in the Title / URL / Description too much. Or a ton internal linking with exact matches etc. Any tips or experiences you guys want to share.

Here is a video I made some someone that I asked the same question too with some more detail: http://screencast.com/t/YSyqFBLi

I don't want to waste time doing silly spammy things so I wanted to see what some other smart people thought.

Internal links to recommended reads from other posts in your site is a good thing to do, I believe concise links work better than longer links, it also looks better when someone wants to link to you.
