22,986 PointsI would try and find a more recent course to follow - With the way php has moved recently, 2013 feels like ancient history!
I personally wouldn't follow a tutorial that mixes functions and objects interchangeably. Object Oriented is definitely the way to go!

2,435 Pointsxd lal, 'ancient history' 2 years ago. I wonder when a new web app isout, like a dating site how many updates they have to do in a month or two xdd.
Im learning now how to get dynamic webiste into WP from HTML and CSS and its really easy tbh . I thouhg it was harder but its straight farward . The PHP i did before helped me thouhg as well.
Though, i will want to learn laraver after, so WP doestn come handy in that matter.
What do you think about this course? its for 12 pounds . And it teachers OOP making an web like Facebook/Treehouse kind of . Though i didnt looked at date as its not there but i believe its good right?
I bough a course from Brad Hussey , and well, even on his free course i did understood a lot. I use Treehouse as for basics and its good for best practices plus it has forum but its missing projects :( ,i mean, one project would be enough : p

22,986 PointsWelllll maybe that's an exaggeration :p But you know what I mean!
I'm afraid I haven't checked out that particular course or company, so couldn't offer any insight. You could always email the instructors to find when it was created!
