Looking for a cool web company name...

First off, cool name! Second, I'd suggest you think of a name that is:

• weird...but not too weird

• unique...but not absurd

• contextual...but not generic

For instance, a friend of mine has a small SEO business called, "Zato Marketing". Zato is a (sort of) transliteration of a Greek word meaning, "to search". It's not too weird, it's unique and contextual.

Think of the giants - google, amazon, ebay, twitter. All a bit odd (and not all having to do with their given context), but their novelty makes them highly memorable household names. Also...Team Treehouse. A "tree house" floods my mind with words like, "fun, exploration, good friends, fascination, imagination, endless possibilites". It evokes some good feels, ya know?

So, perhaps begin by googling words like skill, learn, achieve, or grow in other languages. Use the transliteration of the word and spell it out until it's not ugly/hard to pronounce. Run it by your friends and on here.

You could also use a mash up of words or a name from your childhood that have significant meaning. Maybe you have a fantastic memory of a time when you played in a puddle as a kid with a good friend named Trevor, so you name your company Truddle. Terrible example but it kind of explains the point?
