Looking for my first job

Hey guys.. Im currently looking for my first job as a web developer. Not really sure what to apply for however. My first guess would be a Jr. Front End Web Developer. However when looking at job descriptions they are looking for 3-4 years of experience. Any other things I should be looking for? I've also heard that I should apply for these jobs despite some of the requirements.

Although I can't give you any advice because I'm still a beginner web developing student, it's really cool seeing students posting about the next step in their coding journey and their success stories. I hope you get a great job you are happy with!

That needing experience to get experience conundrum is always difficult to get over. I took an unpaid internship for my first development "job" to get the experience I needed. You can get experience in many other places as well. You could volunteer, create your own projects to build a strong portfolio, try your luck freelancing, or apply for internships. You don't have to be in college to get an internship most often. A lot of internships are paid too.

As you said you can always apply for positions you don't necessarily meet the experience requirements for too. Just be sure to follow up with your application in hopes of standing out. If you meet the skill requirements you'll still have a good chance.
