I've added the flex-direction: column; attribute as shown in a previous part of this course with no luck.

The property that makes it a multi line container isn't flex direction, it's flex wrap. Flex direction just specifies the direction of the flex-items, horizontally of vertically.
Try it like this:

display: flex;
---
}
