make FoundationFormBuilder of Jason work with abide validation

Hi, in the "Ruby On Rails forms" course, Jason creates a form builder for Zurb foundation, it works ok with model validations, but I want to add client side validations and Im trying to use abide validation plugin that comes with zurb foundation, however the validation messages are not showed, and I see this is due to the markup generated for the form builder.

Does anybody of you have adapted this form builder for work with abide validation?
