I'm noticing that you're setting the attribute of color
to the value of #52bab3
. Color will set the items font or type color, but from the title of your question you need to set the background color which would be done using background-color
instead.

6,306 PointsI noticed you have an extra { after your input password and before your input submit in your CSS it's highlighted orange and should be removed. Not sure if that it what's causing your problem but either way it's got to go.

Essentially, you want to set the background color with background-color instead of color since that sets the text color:
