Menu Won't show up

I've run the video back and am pretty sure I have all the code, but when I check my site locally the menu doesn't show up. The menu function seems to work as the option shows up in the WP dashboard and it lets me create menus. here is the header.php: <?php 

$args = array(
    'menu' => 'main-menu'
);

wp_nav_menu( $args );

?>

Fixed it. When I created the file it was saved into the wrong dir. moved it to the correct one and everything is working.
