Mobile App Design Question

I just went through the new Mobile App Design course and loved it!

I did have one question regarding exporting. I noticed that we only exported the icons. Would you normally want to give the developer more assets? Or would some of the simpler elements (ie a red rectangular button) be something that the developer would just be able to code from the mockup?

Thanks!

Hi Walker,

it depends on the project. In the case of Sarah's Diary App IMHO an iOS Developer would't need more assets than the icons as PNG's (and the documentation of course). I don't see any other elements you can't build in Xcode with the knowledge of the documentation (colors, character types, measurements, etc.) as shown by Sarah.

Kind Regards Holger
