multiple arguments added to a function

What is the issue with my program that is causing it not to pass?

script.js
var max = function(6, 4) {
  if (6 > 4) {
    return 6;
  } else {
    return 4;
  }
};

You pass the values in when you call the function, that way it can return the max of any two numbers, not just 6 and 4. Should look like this:

var max = function(a,b){
if (a > b){
return a
}else{
return b
}
}

max(6,4)
