my list still shows numbers despite the fact that the tag is

I’m an aspiring web designer who loves everything about the web. I've lived in lots of different places and have worked in lots of different jobs.

I’m excited to bring my life experience to the process of building fantastic looking websites.

I’ve been a professional cook and gardener and am a life-long learner who's always interested in expanding my skills.

Fourth list item

I would expect that some CSS or JavaScript not shown here is responsible for the numbering.

is a tag for ordered list, i.e. it is ordered, therefore it is numbered.

is a tag for an unordered list. Using
rather than
will not give numbers, but it will give bullet points. The bullet points can be removed by adding some CSS.
