My logo

This isn't a question there just isn't a way to post without asking something. This is my logo from the logo design basics class I think it turned out pretty good seeing that it was made with MS paint. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t34.0-12/10804952_305172379687252_1778496192_n.jpg?oh=3423a614d5b14eb039e98aeb3de917ce&oe=546CE74D&__gda__=1416370909_a43733dbb5735d96a3d507cde234a4c0

Hi Joseph,

First off, awesome job on creating your logo. Just a few things I noticed:

  1. The kearning(space between the letters) on your type is a bit wonky. The "C" in ESCHER is very close to the "H" Also the word "STAIRS" has issues with that as well.

  2. The "E" in ESCHER is larger than the rest and that is called "Small Caps", however nothing else is in that format. I would keep the baseline(bottom of the letter) and the capline(top of the letter) the same so you create a nice even rectangle shape with your letters.

  3. The stairs with the person walking up them isn't reading the way I think you want it to. It feels like he's falling instead of climbing. I would turn that whole part so that he looks like hes climbing up.

  4. I see what you're doing with the leg of the "R" and the stairs ninety degree corner however again I don't think it is working. If you moved the man and the stairs to the left of the text, made it so he is walking up the stairs. and aligned the text to the edge of the stairs with about a .125 in margin between the text and the end of the stairs.

These are just my thoughts. We all start somewhere and this is a great beginning.
