My workspace isn't loading when i click "Launch Workspace"...

I was using workspace normally this morning, following along with one of the courses, when all of a sudden it stopped working. I closed the browser and tried relaunching the workspace but now it won't load.

My question is, is this a problem on my end? or is workspace down for everyone? Is there a way i can check if it's undergoing maintenance or if there's a server issue?

Thanks! I just don't know if I should wait for the problem to get fixed by Treehouse or if I have to do something to fix the problem.

same here but when i use visual studio code my program is running, i am currently on RSVP app JavaScript. how do i fix it? because i cant keep on downloading zipfiles over and over. please help, thanks in advance.

Hi, Andrew,

Your problem sounds similar, or, perhaps the same as mine last week. I contacted support, and Jay responded almost immediately by suggesting I close down Workspaces for 15 minutes, allowing it to recalibrate.

It might be good to know if that worked for you, too. DM

Hello David, Thanks for that tip. I actually wasn't able to check after 15 minutes. I waited like 5 minutes, wrote the comment above, then went about my day. When i returned to Treehouse about 2 hours later, the workspace was working. So everything is good now. Next time, if it happens again, i'll close down workspace and wait 15 minutes and see if that solves it. Thanks again!.
