I could add COLUMN but don't have to. Tried running it locally on my machine and it worked.

Python Web Development Techdegree Graduate 49,702 PointsI typed it exactly the same way you did in the attached image, it worked fine.
I tried it again putting a SPACE before the word SELECT and it failed so be sure you don't have any extra spaces in your select statement. Especially before.
