need help ive been stuck on this, and I tried everything to get the answer.

You forgot to show the code you had tried so far, but let's look at the issues:

  • first, you forgot to close your first CSS rule with and ending brace (})
  • then, a selector for a class is simply the class name preceded by a period (the question even shows it!)
  • the display value to place items side-by-side and let you set width is inline-block
  • I'll bet you know how to set the width :wink:
