Need some help with this challenge

I am not sure what is not working here?

You're defining the function fine, with the right name. You're asked to create the function with a single argument, and return that argument. The arguments of a function is what you define in the parenthesis after the function name. In your case you have one argument, GoToZara. This means that you simply need to return this, to pass the challenge.

Thanks Stephan for your time, I have typed return GoToZara; and it still didn't passed. it says syntax error.

I didn't see it the first time, but you're missing an opening curly bracket after your function declaration. Your function should look like this

function returnValue(GoToZara){
  return GoToZara;
}
