General Discussion

New Boards that must be added to Leaderboards!

can you please add those boards to the Leaderboard ?

1- Student Rank per Country: student can check his rank on the students on his country, and we can give the top 5 students on each country a special badge in his profile with the country flag for example (which will vanish once he loses his rank from the top 5 or change his badge with word ex- on it)

2- Student Rank Per Region: student can check his rank on the students on his region, for example Middle East, Europe, etc, and the top 5 students on each country get a special badge in his profile representing his region (which will vanish one he loses his rank from the top 5 or change his badge with word ex- on it)

3- Top countries with points ( Countries Rank ) Each Country = sum of all points of the country students.

most of those lists exists on some of the most popular programming contest websites, but it barely exists on Programming courses websites, so you will got an advantage with those boards.

All the current badges are related to achievements and are permanent. Issuing temporary badges to indicate leaderboard placement would be a huge deviation from the current meanings and might seem a bit redundant to the function of the leaderboard itself.

And while I'm not opposed to the leaderboard suggestions, I thought it might be worth pointing out that the goals of a contest website might be different from the goals of a learning website.

Lastly, while the forum is a great place to get help from other students, it may not be the most expedient (or even certain) way to contact the staff. You may also want to submit your suggestions as described on the Support page.

Thanks for your great reply, now I got the idea clearly about the badges, but what about a board per country or students per country, just the rank, no badges and for only motivational purposes, just like the already added boards

I'm neutral on that myself; but if you think it may be something other students may really like, submit your suggestion to the Support staff.
