Hi there, Ndhokoyo Aaron! You're doing fantastic. If I add one character to your code, it passes the challenge! At the top, you have a media query that works splendidly. But it's missing a closing curly brace at the bottom. So the other media query is actually defined inside your first media query.

You have:

@media (max-width: 1020px) { /* starts the media query */
  .main-header {  /* selects the items with the main-header class */
    background: tomato;
    color: white;
  } /* ends the main-header selector */

But you meant:

@media (max-width: 1020px) { /* starts the media query */
  .main-header {  /* selects the items with the main-header class */
    background: tomato;
    color: white;
  } /* ends the main-header selector */
} /* ends the media query */
