Next, in the .photo:hover img rule, scale the image 1.3 times its size. What's the problem with my code?

I put in the code but it still says incorrect.

/* overlay and img transitions ---------- */

.overlay,
img  {
    transition: transform .6s ease-out;
}

/* overlay and img transforms ---------- */

.photo:hover .overlay {
transform: translateY(-100%);

}

transform : scale (1.3);

Hi, Excel Nmecha!

You're doing fantastic! CSS can be picky about whitespace and this is one of those cases. You have a space between the word scale and the opening parenthesis. All you need to do is erase that space and you should be good to go!

Keep up the great work!
