No Tables found in Database

Hi There

I've installed XAMPP but get the message "No Tables Found In Database" How do I fix this. It seems to be the only thing causing issues for me.

Hi Ted

I created the database and then the user. I notice that when I'm done I get a message saying No tables found in database. So I am unable to setup WP.

After a few hours of just deleting the database and user over and over again I finally got it. I created the user first and then had it automatically create the database. This seemed to have finally got it working :-) more than 4 hours later. Thank you for the quick reply Ted, I really appreciate it. I should have asked sooner.

Dis you create a database and add tables?

I think you can install WordPress using the Applications tab on the localhost home site. That should also initiate the needed databases, I think.
