Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Looping until the value passes

not clear enough

Can I have a little more explanation please? I've done this exercise 30 different time already.

Example.java
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
String response = "no";

James South is correct. console object is of type java.io.Console. readline method accepts argument of prompt and returns the line of text the user enters. To use the text returned, it makes sense to assign it to a variable.

The console.readLine gets whatever the user types in which is a string, so do the following: String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?"); This gets the response and stores it in the response variable. Hope this help!
