Python Python Basics (2015) Letter Game App Exiting

Not sure why this code won't work.

This is a very simple snippet that works in the workspace but won't pass the challenge.

What am I doing wrong?

firedoor.py
import sys

answer = input("Do you want to start the movie?")

if answer != "n".lower():
  print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
  sys.exit()

The lower needs to applied to the answer

import sys

answer = input("Do you want to start the movie?")

if answer.lower() != "n":
    print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
    sys.exit()

thanks!

Try the lower() method on answer:

import sys

answer = input("Do you want to start the movie?")

if answer.lower() != "n":
  print("Enjoy the show!")
else:
  sys.exit()
