Courses Plus Student 11,987 PointsOK, What is the difference between MAC Visual Studio and Windows Visual Studio?
Yes, I googled it and yes there are conflicting threads over this topic. My main care is that I will be able to work with APS.NET and Entity Framework. If not that means I have to fire up my Windows computer that's been turned off for more than 2 years.

It looks like the answer is yes and no. You would be able to work with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core. Source: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/productinfo/vs2019-compatibility-mac
If you are not familiar with it, .NET Core (and all its connected technologies) is a ground up rewrite of the .NET Framework. It is cross platform where the original .NET Framework is Windows only. In general they are very similar and share many of the same basic API structures (think System.Console and the like) but there are differences, so if you are going to try out things from TreeHouse just be aware that not all the code will work the same and you may have to do a quick search for what the .NET Core equivalent would be.
