Ok... why new code has been added in between videos, code that we aren't aware of? It's so confusing!

I thought it's just my imagination but not only once I got different results on my project although I followed the exact same steps as in the videos. Comparing the download files with the code I am writing, it's clear that new code has been added in between videos. What's the point? I always have to go and inspect both pages (mine and Guil's) in Developer tools just so I can find what's "wrong" with my code.

Every few videos, there is a message at the top stating to use the new workspace. That could be the issue as there may have been updates to specific videos since the original.
