is OkHttp still recommended as http library? or is there already a better solution?

3,311 PointsIt depends on what you need in your app, for this app, OkHttp is still the recommended library. A lot of developers still use OkHttp because it is lightweight and gets the job done.

I'm not the expert but everything I read points to Volley or Retrofit. Here is the best article I've found on the subject, however it is almost 2 years old and we all know how fast technology changes. I just haven't been able to locate anything any better.
