In what way is the networking operation happening off the main thread when all the networking code is on the Main thread file i.e. MainActivity.java class ?

From what i know anything within the call.enqueue(new Callback() {...});

runs on a secondary thread asynchronously to limit the load within the main thread, MainActivity.class doesn't mean that all operations run on the main thread. The MainActivity is just a class and a class shows how a program should function, and store individual objects.
