Does anyone know a good place to learn about e-commerce? I'm looking for some new software for my company and am not aware of any reputable sources for information on this kind of stuff.
I'm looking for some software that can manage about 30,000 skus and can track orders from both shopping carts and phone call orders. Is there a name for this kind of software?

17,497 PointsI would start with Wikipedia, then just google anything and everything from there.
Terms of the order system, you're probably looking at multiple applications. There is rarely one application that does it all awesomely from what I've found. At a previous company we had Great Planes handle the accounting and inventory system. We were looking at Mangento to handle the e-commerce portion of it. Phone orders is a special use case that could be built into many applications.
