Paypal Adaptive Payments

Hello,

I am a bit confused on paypal's API for adaptive payments. Here is what I am attempting to use API for:

My website is designed for people to offer their own services. They can charge a rate for whatever service they provide, but I want to create a system so that whenever someone pays for a person's service, I take a percentage of the profits. How can I do this automated using paypal adaptive payments?
