Photoshop version

Hello, Currently I'm using Photoshop CS3. Do I need to upgrade to learn the Photoshop tutorials. I just want to know about Photoshop for Mobile. I want to draw some background for my Mobile applications.

You shouldn't need to upgrade for the most part, there are a few shortcut differences between CS3 and CS4+ and obviously differing features. You shouldn't need those features to create your backgrounds and follow the videos though.
