777 PointsI installed on a windows 8.1 pc that is 64 bit. Is there a specific version for windows 8.1 64 bit.

16,963 PointsThat might be the problem. The version you need is designated x64 for the 64bit version.

16,963 PointsThe easiest way to get PHP working on your computer is to install a WAMP stack. This will run Apache, MySQL, and PHP on your computer. From there, you can put your website in a folder and see it in the browser by typing localhost. http://www.wampserver.com.

16,963 PointsMay need some more info here. A blocked port could be a firewall problem. Apache, or other server software, is a dependency, so get that. You may need the correct privileges, log into root. Or you may need to just redownload and try again.
