PHP SESSION

Hi,

How do Session in PHP works? So i did a login system and how can i display the user attributes like id, name etc..? Do i have to store it in the session class?

Read here http://www.w3schools.com/php/php_sessions.asp. This is a great place to start. But here is the basics in short.

Once the user has successfully logged in you call a built-in function "session_start();". Next you set the variable you want to store like so: $_SESSION["username"] = "username";

Now when you want to display the session variable you call it like so: echo $_SESSION["username"];
