PHP: variables and conditonals

This is a PHP Variables and Conditonals challenge I am having a difficult time getting right. I have already assigned a variable, but keep getting the following task incorrect.

Here are the directions (NOTE: not allowed to change HTML):

Modify the command that displays the flavor of ice cream. Instead of it displaying a static piece of text, change it to display the value stored in the 'flavor' variable.

Here's the challenge code:

<?php

$flavor = "strawberry";

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";

echo "vanilla";

echo ".</p>";

echo "<p>Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";

?>

All those "echos" are confusing. There was nothing like this in the videos to reference.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

The copy/paste is not coming across as in the challenge itself. Above, I tried to tab at appropriate places....here it is without tabs:

<?php $flavor = "strawberry"; echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is "; echo "vanilla"; echo ".</p>"; echo "<p>Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";

?>

I believe that you need to change this:

echo "vanilla";

To this:

echo $flavor;

If you want your code to display correctly, use markdown. There should be a link to a Markdown Cheatsheet just under the box you use to post a question or answer.
