Picking Fonts

For any kind of app, webapp, website, how do I determine good fonts? How do I determine if I have too many types of fonts, or too little? How do I know if they are too fancy or too plain? How do I know if they are accessible or not? Are there general guidelines or principles I should follow?

Thank you!

I know they had a badge on typography in the CSS deep dive. Have you already gone through those? http://teamtreehouse.com/library/css-foundations#web-typography

I'm surprised to see that there's not at least one video on Treehouse devoted to this (am I missing it? ) anyways, the answer is not always simple and clear cut, but here's a great article on typography on the web: http://alistapart.com/article/on-web-typography
