Please provide me a solution

if ( $studentOneGPA == 4.0 ) { $NAME = $studentOneName; echo "$NAME made the Honor Roll"; } else { $NAME = $studentOneName; echo "$NAME has a GPA of GPA"; };

index.php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment

if ( $studentOneGPA == 4.0 )
{
  $NAME = $studentOneName;
 echo "$NAME made the Honor Roll";
}
else
{
  $NAME = $studentOneName;
echo "$NAME has a GPA of GPA";
};

if ( $studentTwoGPA == 4.0 )
{
  $NAME = $studentTwoName;
 echo "$NAME made the Honor Roll";
}
else
{
  $NAME = $studentTwoName;
echo "$NAME has a GPA of GPA";
};
?>

Well this should work! :) You don't need the name variable and you forgot to echo the GPA.

<?php

$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment

if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0) {
  echo $studentOneName . " made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo $studentOneName . " has a GPA of " . $studentOneGPA;
}

if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) {
  echo $studentTwoName . " made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo $studentTwoName . " has a GPA of " . $studentTwoGPA;
}

?>

Ernests Millers answer is indeed correct! I am going to offer a shorthand version just as reference.

<?php

$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment
if($studentOneGPA === 4.0){
  echo"$studentOneName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo"$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA";
}
if($studentTwoGPA === 4.0){
  echo"$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo"$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA";
}

?>

Issue still persists: <?php $studentOneName = 'Dave'; $studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure'; $studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment

if ( $studentOneGPA === 4.0 ) { echo $studentOneName . " made the Honor Roll"; } else { echo $studentOneName . " has a GPA of " . $studentOneGPA; }

if ( $studentTwoGPA === 4.0 ) { echo $studentTwoName . " made the Honor Roll"; } else { echo $studentTwoName . " has a GPA of " . $studentTwoGPA; } ?>

Thanks your code worked. Issue resolved...might be because of space after if and (

Still issue persists: <?php $studentOneName = 'Dave'; $studentOneGPA = 3.8;

Use my code, tested it works.

Thank you all !!

Issue was that the { braces after if should be one the same line as if
