Possible conflicts between the DL suggested in this video and XAMPP?

I DLed the content suggested in this video on my PC(64bit, Windows 8), its working great. I'm also taking a PHP course that has instructed me to DL XAMPP. Given that XAMPP has MySQL software included in it, will there be any errors or conflicts that arise as a result of having both of the above on my PC?
