Development Tools Introduction to the Terminal The Command Shell Command Arguments and Options

print out the contents of the a.txt file, with line numbers. (Hint: the option includes the letter n.)

Hello. Can someone please help me pass this quiz? So, it says this is incorrect:

cat a.txt -n

But that's exactly what works in my local terminal. Thoughts, anyone? Thanks in advance!

oh, they want me to say

cat -n a.txt

...even though sticking the -n option at the end also works. hmm...okie dokie

Did it and it also worked for me.

It didn't work for me typing just -n. I had to omit -n and just type "a.txt" alone.

You know! I had to research on this question as well and the only thing that worked for me was "a.text"
