problem with going back to where I was in the course. please help

i was doing the Git Basics course and had only some twenty minutes of coursework left to be finished. But I decided to hit the back button twice to go back and check an old video and now i can't go forward to the place i was in before unless i finish all the quiz from the previous videos. This is very irritating and time consuming. Please, is there any way to skip the quiz and move forward to where i was before?

You can click on the little circle steps above the video to the step you were at. The ones you've already finished will have a check mark, the next step you're on will have the icon of the type of step it is (video, quiz or coding challenge).
