So its of course wise to have a portfolio site to showcase your work. Is it also wise to have a site offering your services as a way to perhaps expand your portfolio? If its common to have both is it a good idea to have the two separated or maybe integrated together?
What Im trying to figure out is that I currently have a behance portfolio for my design work, a blog site to post to as I progress in web development, and a site offering services. What would be more beneficial for me to do to market myself? Combine them into one website about 'me' or keep them separate like they are (The reason for that was to get more websites to show off.) They all have different looks which led me to thinking they should all be connected for the sake of personal branding. Any ideas?

9,421 PointsHaving one site for both your blog and your portfolio is nice as it gives potential employers and clients a broad view of what you're all about, thus telling a story of who you are. Savvy marketing is storytelling, and this would be a great way to tell your story.

In my opinion, I would consolidate all those into one site. With proper layout and navigation you can provide everything those 3 sites offer in a clean and concise one-stop-shop.
The other benefit to a one-site setup is possibly finding new clients that would have otherwise not found you. If a potential client searched and found your 'blog,' there is no guarantee they will click through to your 'services' site. But if they were already there...
