RailsCasts still relevant or outdated?

Hi,

Just wonder despite many recommendation, is RailsCasts outdated, it seems Ryan Bates no longer to update new screencasts? any better screencasts out there?

Unfortunately RailsCasts seem to be dead. You can sometimes find stuff that still works as shown in the casts, but right now the only up-to-date resources I know and use are GoRails and RailsApps.

Yeah definitely, RailsCasts has tons of great resources but mostly outdated informations, I can try to find some useful. It is tough to know that Rails are moving quickly than many outdated books/screencasts. :(

I still think the videos are relevant and the ideas themselves are very good. I've taken many of his videos and rewritten the code to fit into projects and was thankful for the presentation style of his videos.

You won't be able to copy and paste code that works instantaneously though and really you shouldn't do that because you never learn what the code is doing then.

Oh okay, thank you for your suggestion, I will definitely check out videos there and get some concepts.
