With a root relative path, the link is relative to the root of the website. This is similar, but the link is relative to the current file. Like this:

<?php include('../../config/company.php');  ?>
<html>
<head>
     <title>Leadership | Shirts 4 Mike</title>
</head>
<body>

    <h1>Leadership</h1>
    <p><strong>Owner:</strong> ????</p>
  <p><a href="/contact/">Contact</a></p>

</body>
</html>

What is a relative server path?

Hi Steven,

You should probably give the video another view. It explains what a relative server path is :-)

Thank you, Jennifer! For some reason, I am not seeing this. I just watched it again. Is it the same as a root relative path using the '/'?

Sorry, this seems like it is probably a really simple concept that is escaping me.

Thank you! I did understand that concept. I thought Randy was looking for something a little deeper. lol. We just dealt with constants so I thought he might have been asking us to use the 'ROOT_PATH' or 'BASE_URL' type concepts.

Many thanks,

Steve
