I have 2 questions would like to ask you all:
- What is the base salary for a REMOTE Full Stack JavaScript Developer (with 4-5 years of experience) these days?
- Do you think that remote developers would be paid less than those who work at an actual office? If yes, why?

231,072 PointsIn my experience, working remotely has no effect on salary.
I can't speak to question 1, but when I have worked remotely, it had no effect on salary. If anything, I would think someone working remotely might be worth a bit more since the office does not need to provide space or facilities for them (office or cubicle, break room, coffee, etc.) but nobody seems to think about it that way.
The only downside to getting a remote job is that it reduces your employment prospects. Many employers don't offer that opportunity.

Courses Plus Student 8,487 PointsThat's what I thought, too but I guess the employers could have also argued that you get paid less for the flexibility that you get when working remotely.
Anyway, glad to here that I'm not the only one thinking remote workers should be paid equally (at least) to those who work at an office.
