Reselling SaaS products online

Hello Treehouse community,

I will start to resell different SaaS products on my own website and I want to pack them in bundles to increase sales. Any suggestions of how I can make this possible? What platform should I use (Shopify, WooCommerce, Weebly, etc.)? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jorge,

Before I can help you decide on a platform, may I ask how you are thinking of 'packaging' these SaaS bundles? Are these your SaaS products or from other companies? Do I purchase a bundle, or is it free?

If you answer me these, I may have enough information to help

Hello John,

Yes, these SaaS products are from different companies. You pay for the equivalent of the sum of all the subscriptions, but in this case at a discount since it is a bundle.

Thanks!

Okay, you could easily achieve what you are looking to do with something like Shopify so you should be fine there. You shouldn't need to build a custom site just to be able to sell a bundle of products.

Would you be reselling downloadable software, or SaaS in the cloud (in your browser)?

If it's the cloud SaaS, I am not quite sure how you are going to take the money from a customer, and then set each customer up with an account on each site, distribute the money to each company and handle any recurring monthly payments, account plan upgrades etc.

Yeah, my main issue was charging for the product and deploying it in an efficient way. Since it is almost impossible to centralize this process, I was looking to different solutions and came here for ideas, anyway, thank you so much for your input.
