I guess I just don't understand the question because I wouldn't add anything at that part of the query

Hi Olutope. Given that the table is simply called EMPLOYEES, I can totally follow your logic. So how about we change the requirement slightly and say...

"Unfortunately, our EMPLOYEES table contains duplicates. What should be added to this query to only return 1 row per employee?"

Clue: The word begins with D...

My apologies. I appreciate you giving that hint. I figured it out a couple days ago when I realized I was overthinking it of the entire query versus just adding DISTINCT. thank you again.
