Returning variable challenge

I passed task one of this challenge, but I do not understand what task two is asking me to do and the previous video does not explain it. Can someone help me?

script.js
function returnValue(hi) {
  return hi;
}
index.html

<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

</head>
<body>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

OK, so the second task is asking you to create a new variable named echo. The value of echo is going to be the return value from your function returnValue(). You would do that like this:

var echo = returnValue("some string");

Hope this helps!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
