I have a question about rootkits. I use my Lenovo all the time. How do I know if a rootkit is used om my notebook? Is there a way to know?
Greetings Indra

231,248 PointsThere are special programs for finding and removing rootkits. The most effective ones involve booting the machine from a separate media like a CD or USB stick so if a rootkit does exist, it does not have the opportunity to conceal itself by modifying the operating system.
Most anti-malware companies have a rootkit finder/remover as part of their standard package or available as an option.
