Development Tools HTTP Basics Introduction to HTTP Sending Data with a GET Request

Sending data in GET request.

What does sort=popular HTTP/1.1 do ? Can someone clarify it please? Can I try it somewhere as we did with language=English?

In the case of this quiz question, "sort=popular" is just a data item being sent with the request. What it might do would be determined by the server application; but we can guess that since this is modeled on a request of amazon.com, it would most likely return a page showing books listed with the most popular items first.

The "HTTP/1.1" part just indicates the protocol version being used for the message.
