I dont know what Im doing wrong here. Its telling me that I have to set the background color and the text color.

There is no need for the parenthesis around the color property. You can also drop this down to the next line to make it more readable.
You are also missing the opening and closing brackets for the media query.
It should look as follows:
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
@media (max-width: 1020px) {
.main-header {
background-color:tomato;
color: white;
}
}
